Job summary

Agupdate is seeking an Insurance Verification representative for a part- or full-time role based in suburban Passaic County, New Jersey. You will verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations for products and services by phone, fax, or email, and communicate copays and out-of-pocket costs to customers.

Responsibilities include printing prescriptions, obtaining physician signatures by telephone/fax/email, scheduling deliveries, and scanning documents.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; college degree preferred.
• MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits and obtain insurance authorizations for products and services via telephone, fax or email.
• Make and return calls to customers to explain insurance benefits, copays and other out of pocket costs for equipment or services.
• Print prescriptions and obtain signatures from physicians via telephone, fax and email.
• Schedule deliveries with customers and print delivery tickets.
• Scan and retrieve documents as needed.
