Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Healthcare Management or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of healthcare insurance billing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage for services and confirm plan coverage.
• Collect and update patient insurance information.
• Obtain or clarify authorizations with insurance companies.
• Support accurate, timely claim submissions with billing staff.
• Coordinate prior authorizations for procedures and tests.
• Review denial notes and assist with appeals and resubmissions.
• Explain insurance coverage and authorization requirements to patients.
