Legacy Insurance Group in Manassas, Virginia seeks an Insurance Team Lead to coach and empower a sales team of account managers and customer service reps. The role focuses on developing technical knowledge, communication skills, and performance while maintaining exceptional client service.

You will oversee daily operations, guide strategy, and drive accountability, retention, and growth, ensuring consistency with agency standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance sales.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles within an insurance sales environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and standard office productivity suites.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to motivate and mentor a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Managers and/or Customer Service Representatives.
• Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions to develop knowledge, communication skills and performance.
• Identify future leaders and assist in succession planning.
• Monitor productivity, service levels, and performance metrics; conduct reviews.
