Job summary

Mercy Springfield, MO is seeking an Insurance Services Representative I to handle the collection and resolution of outstanding insurance receivables, including unpaid, denied and underpaid claims. The role requires effective communication and accurate, efficient handling of high claim volume.

As a hybrid, full-time team member, you will come into the office one half-day per week and contribute to Mercy's mission, values and service standards while delivering quality patient billing support and

Qualifications

• HS Degree or Equivalent required.
• Prior EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory experience preferred.
• Prior Revenue Cycle and/or Healthcare billing or insurance experience preferred.
• Computer and keyboarding skills required.

Responsibilities

• Insurance receivables collection and resolution, including unpaid, denied and underpaid claims.
• Must communicate effectively while handling high claim volume with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values and service standards.
