Intact is hiring a Sales and Customer Service Associate in Ottawa, offering a hybrid work model and a 35-hour week with training. You will advise customers on insurance products, handle inbound calls, and support cross-sell opportunities while progressing along an accelerated career path with an annual bonus plan.

We value bilingual French-English candidates and provide in-house training for licensing exams, with potential for promotion after six months and a supportive workplace ethos.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience in a call center environment.
• Previous experience in sales and customer loyalty is highly desirable.
• Bilingual candidates, fluent in both French and English, will be prioritized.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for customers and colleagues.
• Tech-savvy abilities, with confidence in navigating various systems.
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
• You must be prepared to study for and pass the provincial insurance licensing exam with the support of our in-house training team.
• No Canadian work experience is required, but candidates must be authorized to work in Canada full-time.

Responsabilités

• Play a key role in advising customers on appropriate insurance products and guiding them through next steps.
• Handle inbound calls and deliver exceptional customer service; promote and cross-sell home and auto insurance products.
• Process payment method changes and keep customer accounts updated.
• Respond to telephone and electronic inquiries from existing customers in a timely manner.
