Job description

Position Overview: The Burge Consulting Group protects families with term life, whole life, mortgage protection, annuities, index universal life, and debt elimination by utilizing our proprietary technology and sales process. There is no cold calling; our clients fill out a form requesting information and our assistance. As a field underwriter, you will set up appointments (virtually as needed) to meet with clients via video or phone to help them apply for the coverage. This is a unique opportunity to control your time, maintain work-life balance, and establish a financial legacy for your family.

Compensation

Full-time agents have the potential to make $100,000+ in the first year. Long-term earnings can generate $200K - $500K+ per year. Our company has a streamlined lead generation system, so there is NO COLD CALLING involved. Only those who have requested the information will be contacted. This position is 100% COMMISSION ONLY.

If you aren't licensed, our fast-track licensing program will get you licensed and in a position to earn.

Responsibilities:
  1. Scheduling your own appointments from clients who requested to be called.
  2. Generating quotes for new customers and using e-apps to submit new business.
  3. Generating new business through our leads and referrals.
  4. Cross-selling existing customers with other agency products.
  5. Processing payments and servicing pre-existing clients (veteran agents only).
  6. Following a sales process designed to make closing simple.
Requirements:
