Job summary

Mark Porter-Farmers Insurance Agency is seeking motivated individuals to start a sales career in the insurance field. We provide training and ongoing support to help you build the skills needed to serve customers effectively.

As a Sales Representative, you will focus on meeting new business goals, making sales presentations, and establishing relationships with real estate agents and lenders. No prior insurance experience is required, and a Property & Casualty license is preferred but trainable.

Qualifications

• Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Create relationships from a cold start.
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
• Must have ability to multi-task.
• A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Great Customer Service Skills.
• No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Develop insurancequotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
• Developongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents and Mortgage Lenders.
