Job summary

A-MAX Insurance invites motivated individuals to join our in-office sales team in Amarillo, TX. You will guide customers through policy selections, process payments, and manage renewals, while building a vibrant client network through daily marketing activities.

The ideal candidate enjoys a strong sales mindset, excellent communication, and is willing to pursue any required licensing with our support; bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service/insurance sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Valid Texas Limited Lines or Property & Casualty license highly preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written/verbal/people skills.
• Complete continuing education to maintain license status with TDI.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with various insurance needs: new policies, edits, payments, renewals, reinstatements and questions.
• Inspect vehicles and assess risk to determine insurability.
• Seek new clients; network and market to develop clientele.
• Collaborate with office manager to develop marketing strategies.
• Handle administrative tasks, renewals, and underwriting coordination.
• Support daily office duties and operations.
