Job summary

A-MAX Insurance in Abilene, TX is seeking an Insurance Sales Agent with a sales mindset to join our in-office team. You will assist customers with policy needs, process payments, and support renewals while building a local client base.

We provide extensive training, licensing assistance, and ongoing support. The position offers hourly pay plus uncapped commissions, paid weekly, with comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• TX Property & Casualty license preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong communication skills.
• Ability to learn company software quickly.
• Employer-paid continuing education for license maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs such as new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering questions.
• Inspect vehicles to decide if it is an acceptable insurance risk.
• Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking and marketing.
• Perform administrative tasks and manage policy renewals with underwriting.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
