Job summary

A-MAX Insurance in Texas is seeking an Insurance Sales Agent to join our office team and help customers select the best policies. You will work in-office, build a client base, and drive sales with licensed support and ongoing training.

You will receive hourly pay plus uncapped commissions, weekly pay, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, voluntary benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. Training and licensing assistance are provided to help you grow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Texas License (P&C) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with various insurance needs such as new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering questions.
• Inspect vehicles to determine insurance risk suitability.
• Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking and marketing with the office manager.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals, coordinating with underwriting.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
