A-MAX Insurance is seeking an Insurance Sales Agent for an in-office role in Amarillo, TX. The position offers hourly pay plus uncapped commissions, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn proprietary software.
• Complete continuing education courses paid by A-MAX to maintain active license status with TDI.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs such as new policies, edits, payments, renewals and reinstatements.
• Inspect vehicles to decide if they are an acceptable insurance risk.
• Develop clientele by networking and marketing; collaborate with office manager on strategies.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals; coordinate with underwriting.
• Support daily housekeeping routines.
