A-MAX Insurance is seeking a motivated Insurance Sales Agent for an in-office role in Bryan, TX. The position offers a base hourly pay plus uncapped commissions and comprehensive benefits, with licensing support and ongoing training.

You will assist customers with policy transactions, conduct marketing activities, and collaborate with the office manager to attract new clients. A-MAX emphasizes career growth, teamwork, and a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic Computer knowledge and possess strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn company software.
• Complete continuing education courses (Paid for by A-MAX) as required to maintain active license status with TDI.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with various types of insurance needs such as new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering all questions.
• Inspect vehicles to decide if it is an acceptable insurance risk.
• Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking and marketing.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals and underwriting communications.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
