Job summary

A-MAX Insurance is hiring in Amarillo for an in-office Insurance Sales Agent role. You will assist customers with insurance needs, renewals, and policy questions while building a client base through networking and marketing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Customer service or insurance sales experience is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred).
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company software.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs such as new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering questions.
• Inspect vehicles to assess risk based on condition, age, and other characteristics.
• Seek out new clients, generate lists of prospective clients, and develop clientele by networking and marketing.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals; coordinate with underwriting.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
