Lori Ann Spachek State Farm in Pittsburg, KS is hiring a full-time Sales Representative. You will own a pipeline, bring in new business, and earn base pay plus uncapped commission on every policy you write — from brand-new customers you bring in and from sales within our existing book of business.

You will prospect daily, set appointments, and close new business through the sales process, with a clear path for career advancement and incentives such as a SIMPLE IRA and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred — insurance experience is not required, and we will train the right person on the products
• Strong phone presence — you are comfortable picking up the phone, asking for the sale, and hearing no
• Self-motivated and competitive — you set your own pace and measure yourself against a number
• Outgoing and persuasive — you build rapport quickly and enjoy meeting new people
• Organized enough to keep a full pipeline moving, with strong follow-through
• Motivated by commission and comfortable being measured on results
• Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses

Responsibilities

• Grow the agency through new business acquisition while cross-selling within the existing book of business
• Prospect daily and develop new business through outbound calls, referrals, and warm follow-ups
• Set appointments and close new business through the sales process
• Own your pipeline and keep your activity and customer records current in the agency system
• Hit — and beat — weekly and monthly sales targets
• Round out existing customer accounts by identifying coverage gaps and cross-selling during reviews
• Support existing customers with policy, billing, and coverage questions as they come up
