Lori Ann Spachek State Farm in Pittsburg, KS is hiring a full-time Sales Representative. You will own a pipeline, bring in new business, and earn base pay plus uncapped commission on every policy you write — from brand-new customers you bring in and from sales within our existing book of business.

You will prospect daily, set appointments, close new business, and maintain records in the agency system while pursuing weekly and monthly sales targets.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred — insurance experience is not required, and we will train the right person on the products.
• Strong phone presence — you are comfortable asking for the sale and handling objections.
• Self-motivated and competitive — you set your own pace and measure yourself against a number.
• Outgoing and persuasive — you build rapport quickly and enjoy meeting new people.
• Organized enough to keep a full pipeline moving, with strong follow-through.
• Motivated by commission and comfortable being measured on results.
• Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses.

Responsibilities

• Grow the agency through new business acquisition while cross-selling within the existing book of business.
• Prospect daily and develop new business through outbound calls, referrals, and warm follow-ups.
• Set appointments and close new business through the sales process.
• Own your pipeline and keep your activity and customer records current in the agency system.
• Hit — and beat — weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Round out existing customer accounts by identifying coverage gaps and cross-selling during reviews.
• Support existing customers with policy, billing, and coverage questions as they come up.
