A-MAX Insurance is hiring for an in-office Insurance Sales Agent in Austin, TX. The role focuses on helping customers with insurance needs, processing payments, and renewing policies while building a client base.

The ideal candidate has a sales mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer service. Training, licensing assistance, and ongoing support are provided by A-MAX.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written/verbal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and learn company software.
• Continued education courses paid by A-MAX to maintain license.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs such as new policies, edits, payments, renewals, and questions.
• Inspect vehicles to assess insurance risk and eligibility.
• Seek new clients and market to attract customers; develop clientele with office manager.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals with underwriting.
• Support daily office duties and housekeeping.
