Job summary

A-MAX Insurance is hiring in-office Insurance Sales Agents in Austin, TX. You will develop client relationships, assist with policy needs, and work with underwriting to issue and renew coverage. The role emphasizes a sales mindset, organization, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn company software.
• Complete continuing education courses paid for by A-MAX to maintain active license status with TDI.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs: new policies, edits, payments, renewals, reinstatements, and inquiries.
• Inspect vehicles to assess insurance risk based on condition and characteristics.
• Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking and marketing with office support.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals; coordinate with underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
