A-MAX Insurance is hiring an Insurance Sales Agent for an in-office role in Austin, TX. You will help customers with insurance needs, prepare quotes, process payments, and renewals while building a client base for our low-cost coverage options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and possess strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software.
• Complete continuing education courses (Paid for by A-MAX) as required to maintain active license status with TDI.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs, including new policies, edits, payments, renewals, and questions.
• Inspect vehicles to determine risk suitability for insurance.
• Seek out new clients and network to develop clientele with marketing strategies.
• Perform administrative tasks, policy renewals, and work with underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
