Job summary

A-MAX Insurance is hiring an Insurance Sales Agent in Plano/Garland, TX for an in-office role. You will assist customers with new policies, edits, renewals, and payments, while also inspecting vehicles to assess risk and building a client base through networking and marketing.

The position emphasizes a strong sales mindset, customer-focused service, and the potential to grow with licensing support and paid training offered by the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Valid Texas Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License highly preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn company software.
• Complete CE courses as required to maintain license status with TDI (paid by A-MAX).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs such as new policies, edits, payments, renewals, and questions.
• Inspect vehicles to assess risk for insurance eligibility.
• Develop clientele by networking and marketing; collaborate with office manager on marketing strategies.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals; coordinate with underwriting to finalize policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
