Job summary

Security Plan Life Insurance Company seeks a Sales Coordinator to attract talent, coach, and supervise a team of independent agents. The role focuses on recruiting candidates, training agents, and guiding sales efforts to achieve new business goals and strong client retention.

The position requires licensing in Life, Health, and Accident insurance (or ability to obtain within 60 days) and is based in Hammond, LA with territory travel and regular in-office meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant sales experience.
• Current Full Life, Health, and Accident insurance license required or will acquire within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to travel within the Territory office trade area.
• Outside sales experience and outbound recruiting calls.
• Proficiency with Zoom and Microsoft Office suite (Chrome, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Recruit and assist with selection of potential independent agent candidates.
• Develop, train, and manage a team of independent insurance sales agents.
• Manage and oversee new business sales goals and counsel clients on retention.
• Support independent agents with sales and service.
• Attend mandatory meetings and company training programs.
