Farmers Insurance is seeking an Insurance Sales Associate to join our agency team in a role focused on growth, client protection solutions, and relationship building. You will generate new business, tailor coverage, and guide customers through the sales process.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in sales or insurance, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a drive to hit targets. Licensing is preferred or obtainable, with opportunities for leadership and agency ownership.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Confidence making outbound calls, conducting sales conversations, and closing deals.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and apply coaching.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsabilités

• Generate new business by identifying prospects, conducting outreach, and converting leads into policies.
• Consult with customers to understand insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
• Sell and cross-sell insurance products, including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and policy reviews.
• Work toward and achieve individual sales goals while contributing to agency growth.
• Use CRM tools to manage leads, track follow-ups, and monitor policy renewals.
• Participate in team meetings, sales training, and strategy sessions.

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking candidates who are professional, proactive, coachable, and motivated to succeed in a sales environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• One or more years of sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Confidence making outbound calls, conducting sales conversations, and closing deals
• A willingness to learn, accept feedback, and apply coaching
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain the required license
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
