Job summary

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective insurance customers.
• Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries and quote requests.
• Contact prospective customers to gather the information needed to obtain an insurance quote.
• Ask customers intake questions regarding their insurance needs and circumstances.
• Accurately collect and document customer information.
• Enter customer information into agency management systems and insurance quoting platforms.
• Obtain preliminary quote information, as directed by the licensed insurance agent.
• Provide all customer information, quote information, and relevant details gathered during intake to the licensed insurance agent for review.
• Refer questions regarding coverage, policy recommendations, rates, terms to the licensed agent.
• Schedule follow-up calls or appointments between prospective customers and the licensed insurance agent.
• Assist the agent by ensuring all necessary customer information is collected before the quote discussion.
• Follow up with prospective customers regarding outstanding information or scheduled appointments.
• Maintain accurate and organized customer records and communication notes.
• Protect customer information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
