Job summary

AAA Washington is seeking an Insurance Agent to prospect and sell insurance products (home, auto, life) to members and customers. This onsite role at our Factoria headquarters requires five days a week until productivity targets are met, after which hybrid/remote options may arise.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in sales or sales management, or 1+ years’ experience in an insurance agency.
• Ability to sell and provide resolutions to customers’ insurance needs.

Responsibilities

• Sell and make recommendations on all insurance products offered by carriers represented by the AAA Insurance Agency.
• Identify and develop sales opportunities using lead systems and membership systems to increase AAA Insurance product uptake.
• Respond to quote requests promptly according to agency SLAs.
• Identify, evaluate, and address customers’ insurance needs.
• Ensure proper underwriting and placement to maintain a favorable loss ratio.
• Document agency and carrier applications and ensure timely submissions per guidelines.
• Follow up for renewals to meet retention standards.
• Develop relationships to build referral and repeat business.
• Meet and exceed personal and agency sales goals; support AAA membership model.
