Farmers Insurance is seeking an enthusiastic Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in Minnesota. No prior insurance experience is required; we provide hands-on training, licensing guidance, and ongoing support to help you grow professionally.

You will build relationships with customers, learn about Auto, Home, Life, and Business insurance, and pursue sales opportunities while delivering excellent service in a collaborative agency environment.

Qualifications

• Licenses (Property & Casualty and Life & Health) are preferred but not required; licensing support and guidance are provided.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, grow, and build a career in the insurance industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Able to meet individual and team sales goals and accept coaching.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with prospective and current customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Explain a variety of insurance products (Auto, Home, Life, Business) clearly and confidently.
• Generate and follow up on leads, identifying opportunities to grow new and existing relationships.
• Assist customers with coverage questions, policy updates, and ongoing service needs.
• Develop strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills through hands-on training and real-world experience.
• Learn and utilize industry systems, processes, and best practices with guidance from experienced professionals.
• Meet with customers to review insurance needs and identify potential coverage solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to provide a positive customer experience and contribute to agency growth.
