Job summary

HAUSER seeks a Junior Analyst in Financial & Professional Risk to support client service, renewals, and coverage analyses. You will work with the FPR team on requests involving insurance coverage, renewals, new business, or claim issues, using Applied EPIC and other Hauser tools.

Requires a High School Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), 1 year in insurance, and an active P&C license or willingness to obtain within 60 days. On-site four days/week with remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience, preferred in the insurance industry.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license, or must be willing to receive within 60 days of employment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to a portfolio of clients in collaboration with the FPR team: prepare applications, manage certificates of insurance, endorsements, schedules of insurance; invoicing; file setup and maintenance; policy change requests; client and carrier correspondence; ensure policy checklist completion.
• Active participation in renewal process: obtain renewal information, help prepare submissions, market applications, loss information; follow up with carriers on quotations; prepare renewal proposals.
• Utilize Hauser Group’s tools and systems including Applied EPIC to deliver tasks related to coverage placement and client service.
• Provide customer service support to clients in billing and plan administration issues.
• Help analyze coverage quotes, rates and renewal documentation for management and professional lines insurance policies.
• Assist in developing and assembling materials to enhance client understanding of coverages.
• Assist with other duties as time allows; pursue training for career development.
