ACR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Insurance Restoration Estimator / Construction Estimator in the Chicagoland area.

You will develop detailed scopes of work and estimates for residential and commercial projects, interfacing with homeowners, insurers, and contractors. This role requires strong negotiation, communication, and project coordination skills, plus a minimum of five years in construction estimating or insurance restoration.

Qualifications

• Develop accurate scopes of work and detailed estimates for residential and commercial projects.
• Experience with insurance restoration processes and building codes is required.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections for residential and commercial reconstruction projects.
• Develop accurate scopes of work using Xactimate and estimating software.
• Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, supplements, budgets, and supporting documentation.
• Review project plans, insurance documents, and reports.
• Negotiate and secure reconstruction projects while maintaining profit objectives.
• Present estimates to homeowners, commercial clients, and insurers.
• Collaborate with Project Managers for smooth handoffs and timely communication.
