TEKsystems is seeking an Insurance Associate to support a high-volume homeowners insurance project in Hartford, CT. You will review wind mitigation documentation, update policy records, and assist customers by phone, calculating premium credits or refunds using Excel.

The role requires strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to follow established processes in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service or call center experience preferred.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus, but not required for an entry-level candidate.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review documents and enter information.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and spreadsheet calculations.
• Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking with customers by phone.
• Ability to follow established processes and insurance procedures.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hartford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
