Job summary

Edina Realty in New Brighton, MN is seeking an Insurance Renewal Specialist to review client renewals, assess premium changes, identify gaps, and remarket accounts as needed. The role requires 2+ years in personal lines service and a state personal lines license.

The candidate will reprice policies, stay current with carrier guidelines, and support risk management for clients in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2+ years in personal lines customer service.
• Working knowledge of insurance agency operations, coverages, rates, markets, and insurance laws.
• Thorough knowledge of personal lines insurance products.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven automation, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and compare client current policies with renewal policies and investigate reasons for major increases in premium.
• Advise clients regarding insurance coverages and risk management issues. Identify additional insurance needs, gaps in coverage, or incorrect/outdated information.
• Requote client policies as needed or requested. Send applications/cancellation forms, issue new policies, and enter information into the agency management system as needed.
• Stay up to date on carriers policies, packages, coverages, discounts and underwriting guidelines.
• Report circumstances that may lead to potential or actual errors and omissions claims and/or complaints.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
