Job summary

RealtySouth is seeking an experienced insurance professional in Fredericksburg, VA to review client renewals, assess premium increases, and identify gaps in coverage. The role includes remarketing accounts as needed and staying current on carrier policies and underwriting guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in personal lines customer service, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of personal lines products and agency operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in personal lines customer service.
• Knowledge of insurance agency operations, coverages, rates, markets and applicable insurance laws/codes.
• Thorough knowledge of all personal lines insurance products.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven automation, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and compare client’s current policies with renewal policies and investigate major premium increases.
• Advise clients regarding insurance coverages and risk management; identify gaps or outdated information.
• Requote client policies as needed; send applications and cancellation forms; enter data into agency system.
