Duties:

Handle complex insurance coverage disputes involving professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies

Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, depositions, and courtroom advocacy

Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on insurance-related and procedural issues

Engage in high-level written advocacy, including drafting dispositive motions and supporting memoranda

Participate in fact investigation and discovery, including preparing discovery requests and responses

Collaborate with other attorneys on strategy development and case planning

Maintain regular communication with clients and contribute to client relationship development

Support or lead business development initiatives and marketing efforts

Handle multiple matters concurrently with minimal oversight, demonstrating initiative and accountability

Requirements:

4 to 7 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation

Strong background in civil litigation, particularly related to insurance and reinsurance matters

Demonstrated ability to handle cases with minimal supervision

Previous experience with client-facing roles and a proven track record of independent case handling is highly valued

Education:
