Duties

Represent insurers in complex insurance and reinsurance litigation

Analyze and litigate issues involving:

Professional liability policies

General liability policies

Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and litigation correspondence

Conduct and manage all aspects of discovery, including motion practice

Take and defend depositions

Handle court appearances appropriate to experience level

Engage in business development and client relationship activities (preferred)

Manage case files independently while collaborating with team members

Requirements

4–7 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation

Strong working knowledge of policy interpretation and insurance dispute resolution

Experience with drafting complex motions and managing discovery

Deposition and court appearance experience preferred

Ability to manage multiple cases independently and efficiently

Demonstrated leadership and initiative in legal practice

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
