A highly respected corporate legal department is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join its collaborative and long-tenured team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking for a long-term home within a stable organization that values culture fit, teamwork, and professional growth.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in insurance regulatory filings and/or securities filings (SEC filings for a public company). Corporate governance experience is helpful but can be taught to someone who is strong in one of the core areas.
Support a team of attorneys on a variety of corporate legal and regulatory matters
Assist with insurance regulatory filings and related compliance requirements
Prepare and support SEC filings and public company reporting obligations
Draft and maintain corporate resolutions, consents, minutes, and governance documents
Maintain corporate records, minute books, and entity documentation
Assist with annual conflict of interest certifications and regulatory projects
Support audits, examinations, and special projects
Coordinate corporate governance and corporate secretarial functions
5-7+ years of corporate paralegal experience
Strong experience with insurance regulatory work and/or SEC/public company securities filings
Corporate governance experience preferred but not required
Insurance industry or other regulated industry experience is a plus
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Experience with Microsoft Office and corporate records management
Contract Pay Rate: $43-$52/hour
