The Department of Business and Industry in Las Vegas seeks a Deputy Insurance Commissioner to oversee the Consumer Services and Investigations sections of the Division of Insurance. The role ensures effective on-site leadership for Las Vegas staff and compliance with regulatory duties.

You will coordinate with legislative bodies, prepare reports, respond to consumer complaints, and advance insurance market interests while maintaining strong regulatory relationships with entities in Nevada.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience leading teams of 15 or more.
• Three years of experience providing assistance to the public.
• Bachelor's degree in insurance, risk management, or a related field is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site management support for Corporate & Finance, Fraud Prevention, and Legal staff in Las Vegas.
• Lead the Consumer Services and Investigations sections and oversee performance metrics and statutory requirements.
• Present to Legislative committees and coordinate regulatory actions related to Title 57.
