Job summary

KKR in Washington, DC, seeks a Public Policy Analyst dedicated to Global Atlantic’s life insurance and reinsurance business. The role monitors state insurance regulation, analyzes developments, and translates complex issues into actionable intelligence for senior leaders.

Expect collaboration with regulators and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, office-based setting. The analyst will craft briefing materials, support external engagements, and help prioritize regulatory initiatives,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of private-sector experience in public policy, government and/or regulatory affairs, insurance, or related industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to develop high-quality materials for senior executives.
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor U.S. state insurance regulatory and legislative developments and provide timely updates to senior executives.
• Develop clear, concise presentations and briefing materials for Global Atlantic and KKR leaders.
• Prepare briefing notes for meetings with regulators and policymakers.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and other functions on regulatory priorities and reporting.
