Job summary

Lifelong is seeking an Insurance Coordinator in Seattle to support the HIV Insurance Benefits Management Program. The role covers accounting, application coordination, and client outreach to ensure insured individuals and eligible uninsured receive coverage.

Based in the Georgetown area, the position is full-time, with on-site hours 8:30am–5pm, and potential remote work up to two days weekly after 90 days, when feasible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Three or more years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP/AR interactions with carriers, employers, COBRA administrators, and vendors.
• Process voids, refunds, and premium adjustments accurately and timely.
• Maintain logs and reports related to client payments and refunds.
• Enter information into client databases and accounting systems.
• Conduct detailed research and analysis to resolve payment issues.
• Support incoming insurance applications and mail logistics.
• Create and maintain electronic client files.
• Track and maintain data and reports for the insurance program.
• Communicate with coworkers, partners, vendors, and clients.
• Deliver high-quality, culturally appropriate service.
