Job summary

U.S. News & World Report is seeking a Product Manager to own a subset of Insurance products (home, renters, small business). You will build understanding of user needs, contribute to the roadmap, and collaborate across teams to deliver features that meet business goals.

You will conduct user research, define requirements, and iterate quickly, balancing user needs with company objectives while measuring success metrics.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of product management experience, preferably in finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in project management and stakeholder management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Empathetic with the ability to understand user mindsets and needs.
• Detail oriented, organized with good time management.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum and Product Owner role.

Responsibilities

• Own a subset of Insurance products and contribute to the product roadmap.
• Conduct deep user research to understand users and define feature requirements.
• Collaborate with Tech, Design, Marketing, Editorial, and Compliance teams.
• Define and manage product requirements that are thorough and testable.
• Measure results for consumer/customer success metrics and iterate with speed.
