Job summary

Grimes Insurance Group, LLC in Raleigh, NC seeks an Insurance Producer to generate new personal and commercial lines business and build long-term client relationships. You will work with multiple carriers to tailor coverage and deliver solutions that fit clients’ needs while prioritizing value over price.

The role offers a base salary plus uncapped commissions and bonuses, with incentives for new business and book growth, plus licensing support and PTO.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina P&C insurance license or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Previous insurance sales or account management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop relationships, generate opportunities, and close business.
• Strong understanding of personal and/or commercial insurance products and underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Generate new personal and commercial lines business through referrals, networking, and agency opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline to meet new-business and revenue goals.
• Build relationships with referral partners and community contacts.
• Meet with prospective clients to assess exposures and current coverages.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals focusing on coverage and value, not price.
• Quote, negotiate, and close new business with smooth onboarding.
• Conduct reviews to identify coverage gaps and opportunities across home, auto, commercial, and life.
