Job summary

Farmers Insurance District 20 is seeking Insurance Producers and Licensed Insurance Professionals to join a network of 60+ independent Farmers agencies in North Texas. This sales-focused role emphasizes building relationships, developing new business, and guiding customers through insurance options to protect what matters to them.

Opportunities may arise with Farmers agency owners across North Texas based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Hold the insurance license(s) required by the applicable state and position.
• Be able to pass an applicable background check
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and able to work in a goal-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Prospect, network, and develop new leads.
• Establish contact with prospective customers and schedule appointments.
• Identify customer insurance needs and recommend solutions.
• Conduct insurance sales presentations and provide quotes.
• Follow up with prospects and existing customers.
• Meet with existing customers to review policies.
• Cross-sell additional insurance products when appropriate.
• Develop referral opportunities and build relationships in the local community.
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect information.
• Work toward individual and agency sales goals.
