Job summary

Ryan Specialty is seeking a Policy Processing Representative in the United States to efficiently process policy transactions, verify applications, endorsements, and cancellations, and issue documents to clients.

You will support underwriting tasks, use MS Office, communicate with underwriters and brokers, and participate in reports and special projects. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a target hourly rate of $20.00–$24.00.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of office/insurance experience preferred.
• MS Excel and Word (intermediate to advanced); SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clear new business submissions in a timely, detail-focused manner.
• Populate underwriting applications with required information for rating and issuing policies.
• Bind and issue new and renewal commercial policies.
• Process endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Handle notices of cancellation, non-renewal notices, and renewal solicitations.
• Troubleshoot booking and accounting discrepancies.
• Communicate with underwriters and brokers to obtain necessary information.
• Provide timely service to internal and external customers including underwriters and brokers.
• Create and distribute routine and ad-hoc reports.
