Burns and Burns Insurance is seeking an Office Assistant to service a designated group of customers and support a team of Customer Service Representatives, Producers, and Senior Account Executives. The role emphasizes responsive service, document coordination, and proactive client engagement.

The position offers hands-on training, a Monday–Friday schedule, and opportunities for career growth within a family-oriented office environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; prior insurance experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Service a designated group of customers, manage and process requests including changes to policies, review billings, account reviews, and endorsements.
• Coordinate processing of necessary documents with the Administrative Assistant.
• Provide support to producers and/or Senior Account Executives and respond to customer inquiries to foster new-business opportunities.
• Review assigned policies to determine if additional coverages should be solicited prior to renewal.
• Conduct periodic service calls for designated customers.
• Document all conversations with customers and/or insurers relative to exposures and coverages.
