Job summary

AAA in Huntsville is seeking an Insurance & Membership Specialist to deliver superior member service and promote AAA products and services. You will handle insurance questions, membership billing, and branch duties while building leads for agents and life specialists.

The role requires high school diploma, ability to pass background and drug screening, and willingness to work flexible hours including Saturdays. Excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful background check and drug screening.
• Ability to qualify for Property and Casualty License.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members in branch and over the phone regarding insurance policies and membership.
• Assist with insurance billing and other member services, including passport photos and planning road trips.
• Support agents and team members with routine and advanced duties.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Work branch hours: Mon–Fri 9am–5pm and Sat 10am–2pm; closed Sundays/holidays.

Insurance & Membership Specialist

In this role you will:

• Be provided with the training you need on an array of AAA products and services to interface with members with confidence and help you meet your individual and team cross-selling goals

• Provide exceptional service to members in branch and over the phone regarding insurance policies, membership and insurance billing, and other services for members including passport photos, planning road trips, and cashiering duties.

• Perform routine and advanced duties in support of agents and other team members

• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists

• Be expected to be available during our branch hours of operation: Monday through Friday 9am – 5pm and Saturday 10am – 2pm. We are closed on Sundays and most holidays.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience in insurance, retail sales, banking or similar customer service/sales environment

• Advanced customer service skills

• Ability to work overtime including Saturdays

• Ability to travel locally when necessary

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office basics

• Proven ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

• Adaptability to change and ability to meet deadlines

Requirements:
