Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises seeks a friendly, service-driven Membership Specialist to interface with AAA members, providing insurance and membership services and supporting cross-selling goals. You'll receive comprehensive training and opportunities for advancement within a fast-paced branch network.

The role operates during branch hours (Mon-Fri 9:00–5:30, Saturdays 9:00–1:00). Prior insurance or customer service experience is preferred, with licensing support and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Background check and drug screening.
• Ability to qualify for Personal Lines Insurance License.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance and membership services to AAA members in-branch and over the phone.
• Assist members with insurance policies, billing, and other services; process passport photos and cashiering duties.
• Develop insurance leads for agents and life specialists.
• Support team with cross-selling goals and routine/advanced duties.

This is an exciting entry-level position in our branch network, ideal for candidates interested in working in a team environment and interfacing with AAA members by providing insurance and membership services support. In this role you will: Be provided with the training you need on an array of AAA products and services to interface with members with confidence and help you meet your individual and team cross-selling goals. Be eligible for a competitive benefits package, including Paid Volunteer time and Pension Plan Provide exceptional service to members in branch and over the phone regarding insurance policies, membership and insurance billing, and other services for members including passport photos, planning road trips, and cashiering duties. Perform routine and advanced duties in support of agents and other team members. Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.

Be expected to be available during our branch hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 9 am – 5:30 pm and rotating Saturdays, 9 am – 1 pm. We are closed on Sundays and most holidays.

The ideal candidate will have: Prior experience in insurance, retail sales, banking, or similar customer service/sales environment Advanced customer service skills Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays Ability to travel locally when necessary Proficiency with Microsoft Office basics Proven ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Adaptability to change and ability to meet deadlines.
