Job summary

Troutman Pepper is seeking a Paralegal to support attorneys in the Insurance & Reinsurance Litigation group. You will prepare legal documents, conduct factual and legal research, manage case files, and coordinate client and third-party communications under supervision.

Responsibilities include drafting and filing, fact-checking, discovery support, docketing, and trial preparation. Strong MS Office, Research platform skills, and confidentiality are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressive litigation experience in a law firm or corporate setting.
• Willingness to develop expertise in insurance and reinsurance litigation.
• ABA-approved paralegal credentials strongly preferred.
• CP designation is beneficial but not required.
• Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, and e-filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Draft, proofread, and revise legal documents under attorney direction.
• Conduct factual and legal research and summarize findings for review.
• Organize and maintain case files with accuracy and accessibility.
• Assist with discovery, document collection, review, and production.
• Prepare and file documents with courts, including e-filing where applicable.
• Monitor deadlines and manage case calendars in collaboration with attorneys.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties professionally.
