Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Yardley, PA seeks a mid-level litigation associate to represent insurers and their insureds in complex coverage and defense matters through all stages of litigation. You will receive mentorship while supervising junior lawyers and making independent decisions on files.

Requirements include 3–5 years of litigation experience, active bar admission in PA, NJ, NY, DE, or MD (PA preferred), and strong research and writing skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance coverage or insurance defense.
• Active bar admission in PA, NJ, NY, DE, or MD (PA preferred).
• Experience with depositions, motion practice, and discovery management.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work directly with clients.
• Interest in developing case management and supervisory skills.
• Experience analyzing insurance policies and drafting coverage opinions strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent insurance carriers and their insureds in complex litigation matters.
• Analyze insurance policies and prepare coverage opinions and legal memoranda.
• Manage litigation from claim investigation through resolution, including strategy development.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and arbitrations.
• Assist with trial preparation and case strategy.
• Communicate directly with insurer clients regarding case developments and legal strategy.
