The Ohio Department of Insurance License Division is seeking a detail oriented Insurance Licensing Examiner to join our team in Columbus, OH. The role emphasizes accuracy, time management, and multi-tasking across licensing processes and customer inquiries.

The ideal candidate will review applications, maintain license records, and provide professional responses to inquiries while ensuring compliance with state regulations. Full-time position with benefits is offered by the ODI.

Qualifikationen

• 36 months training or 36 months experience in insurance field (i.e., regulatory or industry).
• Two courses or six months experience in customer service.
• 12 months training or 12 months experience in operation of personal computer.

Aufgaben

• Gathers information and documents.
• Review and analyze applications and supporting documents to determine license eligibility or continued eligibility.
• Review and analyze license status and transactions.
• Performs maintenance services on license records.
• Reviews, researches, and resolves customer issues and complaints.
• Make appropriate referrals to management and/or other divisions.
• Provides professional written and/or verbal response for requests of information.
• Assist customers via telephone/email by providing accurate and professional responses.
• Performs related office and clerical duties.
• Assists in the overall operation of the division.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
