NIIC National Interstate Insurance Company in Richfield, OH is seeking a Business Development Trainee to join our team. You will work a hybrid schedule, four days on-site with one remote day, and contribute to market research, campaigns, and client relations to reach division goals.

The role emphasizes learning marketing principles, building relationships with agents and clients, and supporting underwriting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to research markets and identify customer needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develops market research and networking to identify trends and needs.
• Creates and executes marketing campaigns across channels.
• Engages with customers to build relationships toward profit goals.
• Assists in producing marketing content (blogs, newsletters, social posts).
• Monitors campaign performance and analyzes metrics.
• Supports underwriting in fact gathering and pricing for renewals.
• Prepares reports on business profile/mix and new business quality.
• Promotes additional coverage to existing accounts and growth.
