• Answer inquiries within 48 hours to maximize reimbursement.
• Work denials from assigned Remittance Advices weekly.
• Document actions taken on encounters promptly.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Contact insurance companies to confirm claim receipt
• Obtain payment and estimated payment date within 90 days
• Work on correspondence weekly to resolve pending accounts
• Ensure all EDI information is accurate and updated
• Answer inquiries within 48 hours to maximize reimbursement
• Work denials from assigned Remittance Advices weekly
• Document actions taken on encounters promptly

Required Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One year job‑related experience in revenue cycle
• Knowledge of third‑party reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Experience with Medicare online system
• Good investigative skills and telephone techniques

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Payer portals
• Foundational knowledge of information systems and claims management
• 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance
