We own and operate companies such as Altus Commercial Receivables, Brown & Joseph, Paragon, SubroIQ, and NEIS, each specializing in debt management and financial services.

NEIS, LLC has been a leader in insurance audit and loss prevention since 1945. We are seeking a Premium Auditor to join our growing team. This role involves examining the financial records of insured businesses to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, with a focus on detecting fraud and verifying adherence. The position is primarily remote, requiring daily travel to audit locations, averaging 2-4 days per week within your territory.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying standards.
  • Identify necessary information and prepare for audits accordingly.
  • Create schedules to optimize audit efficiency.
  • Communicate with insureds via phone, email, and mail to arrange appointments.
  • Examine records, determine correct classifications, and document operational descriptions.
  • Complete audit reports, explain findings to insureds, and communicate results to the home office.
  • Travel to multiple audit locations as scheduled.
Job Requirements:
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus two years of premium auditing experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to interpret financial documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and staff.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options.
  • Paid time off and 7 holidays.
  • Premium Auditor salary ranges from $46.00 to $48.00 per billable hour.
  • Training stipend up to $750 weekly during onboarding, plus mileage and bonuses; post-training, pay shifts to production-based, typically $44-$46 per hour.
  • Weekly pay schedule.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching and immediate vesting.
