NEIS is seeking Premium Auditors

As we grow our team, we are looking for Premium Auditors to examine the financial records of insurance companies, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, identifying fraud, and verifying adherence to standards. The role is primarily remote, with required travel to audit locations, averaging 2-4 days per week within your territory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying company standards.
• Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and records.
• Create schedules to optimize time management.
• Coordinate with insured via phone, email, and mail to set up appointments.
• Examine records, gather data for correct classifications, and describe operations.
• Complete audit documentation, explain results to insured, and communicate findings to the home office.
• Travel to multiple audit locations regularly.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent, plus two years of premium audit experience or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Ability to analyze financial documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
• Effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Inexperienced auditors earn up to $750 weekly during training, plus mileage and bonuses; experienced auditors earn $46-$48 per billable hour.
