Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in New York seeks an experienced Investment Banking Associate within the Financial Institutions Group's Insurance vertical to join a high-caliber team and work on the full cycle of transactions.

You will prepare pitches, perform financial analysis, present to committees, mentor analysts, and collaborate with a broad network to execute deals across M&A and capital markets, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role.
• Academic background from a top-tier educational institution.
• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Understands transaction cycle and is execution oriented.
• Impeccable communication with senior professionals, clients and stakeholders.
• Self-directed, highly motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding M&A or capital market transactions.
• Interact with senior team members and client management to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives.
• Defining, guiding and reviewing detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, comps and LBO analyses.
• Defining, guiding and reviewing detailed combination and other financial analyses in M&A/pitch contexts.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to Associates and Analysts.
• Participate in graduate recruiting.
